Cuckoo Boom — Privacy Policy
Cuckoo Boom is developed by Batiscafo LLC ("we", "us"). This page explains what information the app collects and why. If anything here is unclear, contact us at info@xymyx.com.
What we store on your device
Cuckoo Boom does not require an account and does not have a server component. Your best score, game settings, and local play history are stored only on your own device and are never sent to us.
Age screening
The first time you open the app, we ask how old you are. This is used once to decide whether you are shown standard ads or child-safe, non-personalized ads. We do not store your age—only the resulting category.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
We use Google AdMob to show banner, interstitial, and optional rewarded ads. Depending on the age category from the screening above:
- If you are treated as general audience (13 or older), AdMob may show personalized ads based on your advertising ID and other signals Google collects for ad delivery.
- If you are treated as under 13, we tell the Google AdMob SDK to serve only non-personalized, child-directed ads and not to collect your advertising ID for targeting.
AdMob is operated by Google and governed by Google's privacy practices. Read how Google uses data for advertising and Google's AdMob data disclosure.
Children's privacy
Cuckoo Boom is not primarily directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. The age screening and ad tagging exist so users who identify as under 13 receive non-personalized ads and are not tracked for ad targeting.
Accounts and future features
Cuckoo Boom does not currently offer account creation or sign-in. If we add optional accounts in the future, this policy will be updated first.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
